The Financial Analyst, for Strategic Cost Management and Backstage FP&A is responsible for supporting the accurate, comprehensive, and timely preparation of backstage reporting and analysis for our leadership, team including period end reporting and quarter end results.

This role will contribute to the overall success of our Central Finance and Finance Transformation projects, as well as play a key role in the backstage Forecasting and Budgeting process.



What you\'ll get to do in this fast-paced role:

• Support preparation of standardized executive reporting and analysis for backstage including ad hoc reporting, period end close and reporting, and quarter end results.
• Support functional leads with period accruals and re-classifications.
• Support the timely and in-depth financial, variance, and trending analyses for the backstage; leverage analytics and technology to interpret results and articulate recommendations to functional teams.
• Provide excellent level of customer service to all levels of the business. Communicate effectively with applicable stakeholders.
• Apply business and financial expertise to resolve moderately complex functional issues.
• Identify challenges and opportunities to improve function performance and profitability.
• Develop and manage various reports using various software platforms including but not limited to SAP and CFIN.
• Assist in building and analyzing forecast, target, and budget process.
• Continually seek out process improvements and creative problem solving in driving solutions, innovation and other initiatives.
• Collaborate and partner with the other departments.

Job Requirements

What your resume will demonstrate to us:

• An Undergraduate Degree in Business with a focus in Finance or Accounting,
• Minimum of 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in Finance/Accounting or retail analytics
• Moderate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills, strong quantitatively and logic thinker.
• Experience in reporting and trend analysis.
• Enrolled in a professional accounting designation (CPA, CA, CGA, CMA) or equivalent experience (preferred).
