Under the responsibility of the Regional Controller, the incumbent contributes to the efficiency of the Finance department and specifically supports the Volume-Driven team. This team plays a key role as the financial partner of the volume driven transactions and other operating expenses. The ideal candidate will actively participate in the company's financial accounting and the production of its financial statements.



The Finance team at Groupe Master, a large-scale company, is undergoing a transformation. It is integrating various IT tools, such as a new ERP and a new financial reporting software. We are therefore looking for a motivated analyst, eager to contribute, grow, and collaborate to develop and improve the accounting and financial practices under their responsibility, in accordance with best business practices. What you will accomplish with us:




1. Financial Accounting:

o Responsible for proper tracking of customer and supplier rebates and provisions. Proper tracking and accounting for volume, spot rebate and other rebate programs.

o Responsible for cost of sales, cost variations and sales adjustments analysis and ensuring their proper accounting.

o Responsible for operating and travel expenses and ensuring their proper accounting. Assisting with management of the travel expense reporting system (Concur).

o Responsible for the Procurement Department expense file.

o Responsible for ensuring proper accounting of warranty related accounts and maintaining Net Present Value calculations for warranty provisions.

o Participate in the closing of accounting periods: variance analysis, end-of-period entries, and account reconciliation under their responsibility.

o Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial performance of the positions/types of transactions under their responsibility.

o Support the Regional Controller in the production of monthly financial statements.

o Improve/optimize current processes and methods, integrate new practices into a new ERP.



2. Finance Partner:

o Act as a finance partner (FP&A) for the procurement and warranty departments: financial and management reporting, monthly follow-up, and support to department during important financial decisions.

o Support the annual budgeting process, working closely with department heads under their responsibility to develop accurate and achievable budgets, and question the submitted amounts.

o Actively participate in the improvement and optimization of partnership processes.

o Participate in the implementation and compliance with internal control, procedures, and related policies.

What You Bring to Our Team:



Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting specialization, or Bachelor's degree in Accounting Science. 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in financial accounting. Excellent knowledge of the Office suite, particularly Excel and its advanced functions Propensity for using BI tools and Microsoft Power tools (Power Query). General knowledge of accounting software or resource management systems (ERP). CPA member or in the process of obtaining it. Proficiency in English and French.
