The City of Revelstoke is seeking an energetic professional to fill the position of Financial Analyst. Reporting to the Manager of Finance, the Financial Analyst supports the City's financial planning, policies, and accounting practices while maintaining fiscal records and preparing reports. As a key resource, this role provides guidance to team members, serves as the primary financial contact for management, and collaborates across departments to resolve financial issues and implement systems. Working closely with senior finance leadership, the Financial Analyst helps assess organizational financial needs and develops solutions, while also acting on behalf of the Manager of Finance in their absence.
The successful candidate will have:
CPA Accounting Designation or equivalent.
Undergraduate Degree in Accounting/Finance.
Minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible accounting experience, with a minimum of two (2) years at a supervisory level.
Experience with municipal ERP software or similar enterprise software.
