Job Description

The Financial Analyst has a strong background in bookkeeping to support financial planning, reporting, and analysis functions. This role requires a solid understanding of accounting principles and experience with day-to-day bookkeeping activities. The ideal candidate will provide insights into financial performance and ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records.

Responsibilities:

Prepare, analyze, and interpret monthly and annual financial reports. Conduct budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. Monitor, analyze and maintain federal and provincial tax filings. Maintain accurate financial records through bookkeeping tasks, including journal entries, reconciliations, and general ledger updates. Assist with month-end and year-end close processes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams. Maintain accounting compliance. Other tasks as assigned.
Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. 3+ years of experience in financial analysis and bookkeeping. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting. Knowledge of tax compliance procedures. Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks). Strong computer skills (primarily Excel and MS360). Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

Pay: $58,000.00-$68,000.00 per year
