The Financial Analyst plays a crucial role in analyzing the costs and profitability of projects, departments, and divisions of Rodeo FX. This position involves maintaining key performance indicators (KPIs), liaising with VFX Producers, and making informed recommendations to the Finance and management teams.

Main responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with VFX Producers and production teams on the financial management of assigned productions.
  • Assist VFX Producers and production management with running financial scenarios and other ad hoc analyses.
  • Manage and update revenue expectations, payment schedules, invoicing, and collections for assigned productions.
  • Manage cost reports, monitor and analyze project progression, and adjust cost projections and actuals across projects, emphasizing departmental variance analysis.
  • Proactively monitor resource and labor projections, ensuring the tracking of tax credits and rebates across various countries and regions.
  • Conduct training sessions for production teams regarding VFX tax credits.
  • Handle the completion of VFX vendor declaration forms, crew lists, and other necessary documents for VFX production tax credits.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 to 10 years of experience in a similar financial analyst position;
  • Diploma in Accounting, Business and other related fields;
  • Proficient knowledge of ERP systems, preferably Netsuite;
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel;
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills;
  • A commitment to confidentiality;
  • Excellent analytical capabilities;
  • Organized and skilled in prioritization;
  • Strong problem-solving skills;
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
