Financial Analyst

We are looking for an financial analyste for our client located in Montreal. A permanent position in a company that is proud to be at the forefront of innovations. He stands out from their competitors by being inventors of solutions.

Responsabilit\xc3\xa9s :

• Prepare and review project margins for month-end reporting
• Collaborate with project managers to ensure accurate financial reporting
• Monitor project budgets and identify any important deviations/risks to the Finance leadership team
• Support and perform month-end variance analysis to provide insights and comments for the Monthly Business Review
• Prepare International project margins and financial reporting package
• Prepare sales commission amounts owing on a monthly basis
• Update sales commission grids and formulas as the criteria evolve
• Continuously evaluate and improve commission processes
• Maintain the monthly commissions reconciliation
• Provide support for ad-hoc analysis and reporting as needed (Syspro, sales volume, etc.)
• Identify areas for process improvement and work with the Project Analysis Manager to implement changes
• Support FPA team in various analysis as well as file maintenance (roll-over).

Exigences :

• Bachelor\'s in finance, accounting or related field.
• 2+ years experience in financial analysis, cost accounting, or project accounting
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and willingness to learn new tools (PowerBI, PowerQuery)
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends and patterns
• Excellent communication skills. Fluent in English both verbal and written (Most projects are executed outside Quebec and requires communication with PMs outside Quebec).
