As a

Financial Analyst

, you will play a key role in our performance analysis, financial modelling, and budgeting process. You will be responsible for [VW1] transforming data into strategic insights that support decision-making across the Davie Group. You will provide support to the Finance Manager and the Chief Financial Officer on the financial aspects of ongoing corporate projects.





More specifically, you will:


Review and validate monthly financial reporting packages prepared by business unit teams to ensure accuracy, completeness, and alignment with budgets andforecasts. Assist in the development of weekly, monthly, and quarterly forecasts (e.g., cash flow, P&L). Build and maintain dynamic financial models to support strategic decision-making. Provide support during corporate acquisitions. Coordinate and support annual audits across the Group. Coordinate and support the annual budgeting process, including timelines, templates, and stakeholder communication across the Group. Work with the Finance Manager on financial analyses and special projects. Design and maintain internal controls in collaboration with the Financial Manager. Assist in the preparation of statutory and consolidated financial statements. Use Excel, Power Query, and Power BI to streamline and automate recurring financial reporting tasks.

Qualifications:

Hold a CPA accounting designation. Have three to five years of relevant professional experience. Excellent communication skills in English and French, both written and spoken. Maintain a positive attitude, and be proactive, resourceful, and detail oriented. Strong proficiency in Excel. Experience with IFRS standards is an asset. Ability to work independently or as part of a team, with the ability to resolve conflicts. * Must undergo and successfully complete the background check and obtain the security clearance required under the federal government's Contract Security Program.
