OVERVIEW:


Our mission as a Finance organization is to lead General Mills in creating strategies that maximize shareholder value, while flawlessly executing our fiduciary responsibility. As a Financial Analyst for Brand Finance, you will be an integral part of the General Mills team and are expected to contribute your ideas and suggestions from day one.

In this role, you'll be the finance expert for the Snacks business unit, partnering closely with brand management and cross-functional teams to support brand strategies, strengthen the business model and hit operational targets. You'll proactively guide the business on product innovation, pricing/SRM strategy, annual planning and more.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:


You will work closely with a team of Brand Managers to help deliver organizational goals by executing the following activities:

Apply financial acumen and technical understanding to provide insights on portfolio profitability, and brands P&L drivers. Analyze new product launch financials and feasibility and present to various levels of the organization including senior leadership. Conduct financial and business analysis to generate insights that influence cross-functional decision-making and shareholder value. Leverage data and information systems to forecast performance and articulate key drivers of change. Lead monthly Business Unit Monthly Business Review (BU MBR) Process, including content preparation that enables quick decision making and actionable next steps.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or any related field 0 - 3 years of related experience. Highly motivated self-starter with demonstrated ability to deliver strong results through partnership. High learning agility and ability to adapt and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment. Ability to synthesize data and provide accurate, meaningful analysis to influence business decisions. Intellectual curiosity and strong desire to learn. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written. Proficient with Microsoft Office, most notably Excel.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Prior experience in CPG or in Commercial Finance roles Working knowledge of ERP Systems (SAP)

ADDITIONAL CONSIDERATIONS:

International relocation or international remote working arrangements (outside of Canada) will not be considered. Given that collaboration is critical to the success of our team members, our teams, and our business, the expectation for this role will be to work in the office on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays each week. Our policy allows flexibility for the reality of business and personal schedules. Monday and Friday are flexible regarding your work location. The salary range for this position is $66,200 - $100,000/Annually. The salary range for this role represents the numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, education, skills, work experience, certifications, etc. As such, pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.
