POSITION SUMMARY

The Financial Analyst at EnerStar Solutions is responsible for analyzing financial data, preparing reports, and delivering insights to support strategic decision-making. This role collaborates with multiple departments to ensure accurate financial planning, reporting, and analysis.

Core Duties and Responsibilities

Prioritize safety in all tasks and comply with company and client safety protocols. Champion EnerStar Core Values in all professional activities. Analyze financial data and develop financial models to support decision-making. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and dashboards. Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. Perform complex reconciliations and financial analyses. Reconcile balance sheet accounts including inventory and capital assets. Prepare and record monthly revenue and expense accruals. Maintain capital asset and inventory listings. Collaborate with departments to gather financial data and insights. Assist in budget preparation, forecasting, and variance analysis. Support financial automation initiatives and process improvements. Streamline financial and administrative processes. Stay current with industry regulations and accounting standards. Participate in other relevant tasks as assigned.




Travel: The individual in this role should be able and willing to travel occasionally as required by EnerStar Solutions.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field CPA designation or working toward certification preferred

Experience

:


Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or finance roles Experience as a Financial Analyst or senior-level accountant preferred

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

In-depth knowledge of GAAP and financial regulations. Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks/QuickBooks Online) and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. High attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Systems thinking mindset with an understanding of interdepartmental relationships. Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and enterprise applications. Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and committed to continuous learning.
