Financial Analyst

Job Description



The Financial Analyst will report to the Finance Manager, to support all accounts receivable and billings in the Extendicare Assist and SGP business units.

The successful candidate will bring critical thinking, a strong attention to detail and a desire to \xe2\x80\x9cdig in\xe2\x80\x9d to learn the business while being mindful of the strong culture and commitment of the Company to provide the best care possible for our patients and residents across Canada.

This position will be located at our Head Office in Markham, Ontario and will have flexibility for both remote and in-office work based on our hybrid work model.

Accountabilities

  • Request data from SGP business partners and upload into internal platform.
  • Follow up with outstanding data from business partners
  • Create and send rebate invoices
  • Create and send management fees, consulting fees, IT equipment deployment and pandemic supplies invoices
  • Receive and accurately apply payments
  • Follow up with outstanding payments
  • Reconcile accounts receivable and investigate any variances


Qualifications and Experience
  • Experience: 1-2 year in an accounting environment.
  • Business Diploma (Accounting specialization an asset)
  • Excellent communication, organization, time management and multi tasking skills required.
  • Microsoft Excel and Adobe PDF software a must
  • Required to work as a team member, with an emphasis on building and maintaining relationships with clients.
