Robert Half is looking to hire a Financial Analyst. Daily functions will consist of conducting financial modeling on various financial products as well as measuring, analyzing, and forecasting performance in conjunction with operating plans, advising management on the allocation of resources to best accomplish objectives, and preparing reports for management. Your responsibilities

- Help with G/L account reconciliation and month-end closing, and other general accounting projects

- Post financial information to journals and ledgers

- Prepare statements and reports that require utilization of a variety of sources

- Prepare variance reports, reporting packages, analysis for leadership on a periodic basis

- Conduct ongoing analysis and monitoring of data, report on performance metrics internally

- Assist in financial planning exercises, including P& L analysis, forecasting and annual budgeting

- Prepare various financial models/reports as required by leadership to support business cases

- Track capital asset requests and to process assets related to acquisitions

- Participate in other ad-hoc projects as directed

Requirements

- 3+ years of accounting experience required

-Degree in Finance and Accounting field required; CPA in progress an asset but not required

- Proven knowledge of financial analysis

- Solid understanding of month end and year end closings

- Financial modeling experience highly desired

- Budget forecasting experience

- Proficiency in financial planning

- Practical knowledge of Ad Hoc Reporting

- General familiarity with Acquisitions considered an asset

- Well-founded grasp of capital assets

- Quality experience with Microsoft Excel

- Experience with JD Edwards would be considered an asset
