Job Description
:Our client in the non-for-profit sector is looking for a Financial Analyst, FP&A to join them on a -6-month assignment. The role will be reporting to the Financial Controller. The position will be working 3 days onsite at their offices in North York.Responsibilities of the Financial Analyst - FP&A is as follows:
- Analyze processes to identify gaps that improve revenue
- Work with other departments on cost-saving initiatives and perform cost analytics
- Assist with analyzing historical and current financial data to identify trends and areas for P&L improvement
- Prepare reports and projections based on the analysis performed
- Build financial models for new programs and projects
- Collect and review data for reporting
- Bachelor\'s degree in accounting, 3+ years of financial analysis experience
- Good knowledge of financial statements, and revenue and expenses analysis
- Clear and detailed communication and writing skills
- Strong analytical and reporting skills
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and exceptional computer skills
