The Opportunity:
As an integral member of the Finance team, you will be responsible for financial management reporting, financial analysis and supporting the multi-year planning and forecasting function, with an overriding objective of driving the business forward.
What You Will Do:
Reporting to the Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis, the Financial Analyst will:• Play an integral part in creating the Fidelity Canada P&L for forecasting and multi-year planning purposes
• Work closely with other members of the finance department in assisting with the development and consolidation of expense related items
• Assist in creating relevant and timely presentation materials and analysis
• Build out efficiencies in existing forecasting and planning processes and systems
• Participate in special projects and other ad hoc analysis as required to help drive business decisions
• Build positive working relationships with key stakeholders across the broader organization


What We're Looking For:• University degree with a focus on business, preferably Accounting
• 1-2 years of experience working in a finance department or professional accounting firm, with experience in financial analysis, reporting, budgeting and/or business planning
• Experience working in the Financial Services industry is an asset
• Completion of or working towards a financial/accounting designation (CA, CMA, CGA) and/or CFA is an asset
