Position Overview: Representing the company in a professional and confidential manner, the Financial Analyst is responsible for working with the Financial Reporting Team to ensure all Finning deliverables are met on a timely basis. The successful candidate will be responsible to maintain and analyze specific segments of the balance sheet., providing value-added reporting to support decision making across the business. This position supports a hybrid work environment.

:

Prepare consolidated journal entries.

Prepare balance sheet review. Provide rationale to balance sheet inquiries from the Controller and Manager.

Liaise with the other divisions to retrieve information required for financial reporting deliverables.

Analyze and book all re-class journal entries

Special projects and activities as required

Experience and Qualifications:

Working towards a professional designation, Bachelor of accounting or Finance

3 plus years of relevant work experience

solid understanding of IFRS

Self-motivated and have great attention to detail

Be proficient in all aspects MS Office suite with an emphasis on Excel

Work well in a dynamic fast-paced environment
