Your tasks

As a

Financial Analyst

, you will play a key role in

analyzing manufacturing costs

. You will work closely with various internal teams to

improve financial performance

and

participate in audit activities

. You will support the continuous

improvement of internal control systems

and assist in

their implementation within the organization

.

Summary of tasks

Financial performance

Determine manufacturing rates and machine rates Monitor overhead costs: Establish a monitoring process with various departments for the annual update of manufacturing overhead costs Analyze costs, manufacturing variances, inventory values, and margins by project/department/division Perform production variance analyses vs. standard costs and provide explanations for variances Review variances with the departments responsible Perform management analyses (costs, prices, productivity, labor, etc.) Participate in the analysis of profitability and profit margins Actively participate in the annual commercial price review process Support the finance director in establishing budgets and other projects as needed

Accounting and internal controls

Participate in the preparation of the annual audit file Improve and ensure monitoring of the internal control system and associated dashboards Ensure compliance with internal control standards, support the teams concerned, and participate in audits

Continuous improvement

Participation in ERP projects: Actively contribute to understanding and implementation of new tools as part of the deployment of the new IFSP interface Participate in continuous improvement projects and support the deployment of new processes

Your profile

Education and qualifications

Bachelor's degree in accounting or general business administration CPA designation (an asset) Minimum of three to five years in financial or cost analysis

Skills and experience

Experience in manufacturing (an asset) Fluency in French and English, both spoken and written Advanced Excel skills In-depth knowledge of ERP systems (integrated management software packages) Knowledge of IFS software (an asset) Ability to solve practical problems Analytical and synthesis skills Ability to work collaboratively and explain information to various stakeholders in layman's terms Strong autonomy and rigor in file management Ability to work in a dynamic environment and prioritize and handle multiple files simultaneously

Other

Willingness to travel on short business trips to North America and Europe on very rare occasions Valid passport with no restrictions
