Why this role is important




We are looking for a

Financial Analyst Co-op

to be a key member of our PC Services Finance Team. PC Services is a dynamic division that includes The Mobile Shop, Gift Cards, and PC Insurance. Our team plays a critical role in driving financial efficiency and performance across these businesses. You will be responsible for supporting financial operations through a mix of accounting and financial planning tasks.

What you need:



Support month-end and period-end close processes by preparing journal entries and financial reports. Assist in performing balance sheet reconciliations and resolving reconciling items. Manage accruals, accounts payable (AP), and accounts receivable (AR) processes, including creating invoices, processing payments, and addressing vendor inquiries. Ensure financial records are accurate, complete, and compliant with accounting policies. Assist in preparing and analyzing daily, weekly, and monthly financial performance reports. Conduct variance analysis to identify key drivers impacting financial results. Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure financial health and operational efficiency. Support process improvements in management and financial reporting to enhance decision-making. Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes as needed.

What you bring:



Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and a basic understanding of financial systems. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with various stakeholders. Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting. Previous coop or internship experience in finance or accounting is an asset but not required. Eagerness to learn and adapt to new financial tools and processes.
