Job Responsibilities:











The Analyst will support the Senior Financial Analyst in projects for internal and external stakeholders in data analytics, budgeting, forecasting, KPI monitoring, and will also support financial reporting and systems maintenance with the client accounting team. The Analyst will support business operations for critical projects and ongoing programs through analysis and other administrative duties as assigned. The Analyst is detail and results oriented, along with having excellent time management and organizational skills, and possesses a solid understanding of the real estate, construction, or development industries.


The Analyst will have the opportunity to work across many departments and collaborate with Directors and the Leadership Team members in the delivery of duties. This is a multi-market role and requires the candidate to understand the business operations and industries in each market to ensure that each market is adequately supported.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Support the financial analyst lead in system implementations (Yardi, Avid, ClickPay, etc.) Work closely with stakeholders to understand their business needs and translate them into technical requirements. Liaise with third party providers to implement solutions and add products for the business Maintain various databases of vital client and company operational information Assist in timely and effective delivery of improvement initiavies and projects through data discovery, data entry, analysis and reporting, using tools such as Power BI Adhere to FirstService Residential's Global Service Standards and uphold the highest standards of ethical, professional, and personal conduct Support ongoing operations by assisting with tasks as needed to maintain workflow and meet deadlines Notify management of equipment Issues, supply needs, or operational concerns requiring attention Participate In meetings and collaborative Initiatives to communicate updates, address challenges, and stay current on policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements Follow all safety guidelines and company procedures to ensure a secure working environment Assist with special projects and perform other duties as assigned in support of community and company objectives Compile and analyze key performance indicators as identified by stakeholders for various periodic reporting Enter information into a CRM software system when contracts are won Prepare and document systems processes and procedures for internal training and reference


Education & Experience:

Associate or Bachelor's degree in an applicable field preferred. 2+ years working experience within the development community, or in the real estate, construction or property management industry strongly preferred. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft operating systems and programs. Notably skilled in excel for data modelling, analysis and reporting. Knowledge and experience with other internet applications, web browsers and software, including mobile devices and apps.

Works well independently and as a team player, with a passion for customer satisfaction Excellent written and verbal comprehension and communication skills. Ability to present information for clients in a clear manner Excellent analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills Self-starter with the ability to prioritize and multi-task to meet deadlines Highly organized and attentive to detail Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools
