Position Summary



The Financial Analyst will play a key role in supporting the financial health, growth and operational efficiency of our radiology clinics. Reporting to the Controller, this position is responsible for providing financial analysis, reporting and insights to assist leadership in making informed decisions related to patient care delivery, clinic operations and strategic growth. The ideal candidate has strong financial modeling skills and knowledge of the healthcare sector, with a proven ability to translate data into actionable recommendations.

Key Responsibilities



Financial Analysis & Reporting

Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports, including variance analyses against budgets and forecasts Analyze revenue streams, including diagnostic imaging volumes, payer mix, and reimbursement trends Monitor operating expenses, physician productivity, and modality profitability
Budgeting & Forecasting

Major contributor in the development of annual budgets and rolling forecasts Provide scenario modeling to support business planning, growth opportunities and acquisition decisions Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality of care
Operational Insights

Collaborate with clinic managers and department heads to provide financial guidance on staffing, equipment utilization and scheduling efficiencies Track key performance indicators (KPIs), such as patient throughput, equipment usage rates and payer collection timelines Support physician leadership with financial performance dashboards and scorecards
Strategic Initiatives

Conduct financial due diligence and analysis for potential acquisitions, partnerships, or new service lines Provide recommendations on capital investments, including imaging equipment purchases and technology upgrades Support the development of business cases for expansion opportunities
Compliance & Controls

Ensure financial practices comply with healthcare regulations, privacy standards and internal policies Assist in internal and external audits, ensuring accuracy and completeness of records

Qualifications



Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field 3-5 years of progressive financial analysis experience, preferably in healthcare, medical clinics, or related service industries Strong knowledge of healthcare reimbursement models, payer contracts and medical billing processes is preferred Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills; experience with healthcare or clinic management systems is an advantage Strong analytical, problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities Excellent communication skills with the ability to present financial information to both clinical and non-financial stakeholders
