Large, well known organization based in Burnaby is looking to hire a Financial Analyst.
This will be a 6 month temporary position, with possibility of extension.

Location: Burnaby - this will be a hybrid role. Required to work from office during training

Salary - $30-35/hr

Primary duties will include:

  • This Senior Financial Analyst manages daily cashflow, prepares Long Term Cashflow Forecast and rolling Cashflow Forecast.
  • Assists with month-end closing, account reconciliations and analyses and year-end audit preparation
Requirements:
  • Strong analytical, investigative, conceptual thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks and work under tight deadlines with changing priorities
  • Able to develop and maintain effective communication and internal controls for the cash management function
  • 2+ years\' experience with daily cash management and rolling Cashflow Forecast
  • 2+ years\' experience with Long Term Cashflow Forecast
  • 5+ years full cycle accounting experience including account reconciliations and analyses, month-end closing
  • 2+ years\' experience with year-end audit (confirmations, schedules and working papers, etc.)
  • Familiarity with JD Edwards ERP system an asset
  • Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
