is a growing transportation and logistics company based in Hammonds Plains, NS. We are currently seeking a

Financial Analyst

to join our team and support our financial planning, reporting, and decision-making processes.

Responsibilities:

Analyze financial data and create financial models to support business decisions Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports Monitor budget performance and provide variance analysis Support forecasting, budgeting, and long-term financial planning Identify trends, risks, and opportunities for cost optimization and revenue growth Communicate with banks and financial institutions regarding loans, credit lines, and financial reporting Collaborate with accounting and operations teams for accurate data interpretation Assist with audits and compliance reporting

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field 2+ years of experience in a financial analyst or similar role Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or similar) Experience in communicating with financial institutions is an asset Analytical mindset with attention to detail Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
