General Responsibilities:
Business AcumenPrepare, analyze, and present to their direct team financial performance, trends, and variances. Provide recommendations to resolve ongoing or ad hoc issues. Identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements.

Data Strategy & AI ReadinessHelp automate and improve processes using automation tool and AI. Ensure data accuracy and compliance with reporting standards.

Process Optimization & AutomationEnsure compliance with internal controls and propose corrective actions. Collaborate with cross-functional analysts to align financial strategies.

Leadership & Talent DevelopmentContribute to documentation of processes. Share knowledge with junior analysts.

Key Responsibilities:Record journal entries for accruals, prepaids, PPE and other month end entries Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts. Perform the bank reconciliation Ensure monthly and quarterly banking compliance Assist in the month-end and year-end closing processes. Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, regulations, and company policies. Monitor and analyze variances in account balances. Assist in actual vs actual variance analysis. Provide support for financial decision-making through data analysis and interpretation. Support internal and external audits by providing requested documentation and explanations. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting requirements. Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies within the finance function. Other ad hoc analysis

Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 2 to 3 years of relevant experience CPA designation is an asset Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting. Proficient in Microsoft suite including advanced Excel. Proficient in Microsoft Business Central is preferred. Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Comfortable working in a fast paced environment Excellent team player skills Bilingual (English and French);
