The Financial Analyst owns the forecasting and budgeting function at Kroll Digital Solutions (\xc3\xa2\xc2\x80\xc2\x9cKDS\xc3\xa2\xc2\x80\xc2\x9d) and supports the VP, Finance in deliverables to the Kroll Digital and Kroll Executive team. The Financial Analyst is responsible for maintaining and developing financial models, analyzing results, preparing presentations, monthly/quarterly reports, performing detailed analysis, and preparing budgets and forecasts. RESPONSIBILITIES:

What you\xc3\xa2\xc2\x80\xc2\x99ll be doing:

• Forecasting & Reporting (85%)
• Measures of success: Accuracy and completeness of financial modeling and analysis, model design quality (automation, ease of use, standardization, efficiency, reconciliations, and built-in checks), overall quality of deliverables, and meeting assigned deadlines.
• Prepares annual budget and quarterly reforecasts.
• Collaborates, questions, and challenges budget owners to complete accurate forecasts supported by commentaries and business insights.
• Performs reconciliations and variance analyses between systems to ensure accuracy of financial results across systems; requests adjustments if/when needed and holds others accountable for implementing changes.
• Creates and maintains existing financial models to drive quantitative insights to support business decisions and/or opportunities assessment.
• Supports the development and maintenance of KDS reporting.
• Acts as liaison between Finance Team at KDS and leadership of Kroll Digital\xc3\xa2\xc2\x80\xc2\x99s business lines as well as Kroll\xc3\xa2\xc2\x80\xc2\x99s Human Capital, Accounting and Payroll teams to ensure employees, revenue and expenses are assigned appropriately across teams and systems.
• Prepares management reporting package on a monthly basis.
• Develops and monitors business performance objectives metrics (e.g.,
• ARR bookings, run rate, CAC, EBITDA, etc.) across KDS business lines.
• Analyzes and reports on time-tracking data to facilitate capitalization of software development.
• Understands ERP and forecasting/reporting systems and maximizes the reporting functionality of the system.
• Financial Operations (15%)
• Measures of success: Level of initiative, quality of work produced, delivery within assigned deadlines, and the manner in which the assigned task was approached and executed.
• Consults with VP, Finance on initiatives and provides strategic recommendations based on analysis.
• Supports Kroll Digital\xc3\xa2\xc2\x80\xc2\x99s migration to Microsoft Dynamics ERP and ensures alignment with KDS business requirements, becoming go-to Dynamics resource within KDS
• Works cross-functionally to assist in various financial and reporting projects while ensuring that best practices of corporate standards and policies are complied with.
• Identifies and recommends process improvements within the finance department and across all operating units through special projects and initiatives.
• Supports ad hoc analysis projects as required including ARR run rates, CAC, bonus and commission plans, and product profitability

REQUIREMENTS:

• 2-4 years proven work experience as a Financial Analyst.
• Bachelor\xc3\xa2\xc2\x80\xc2\x99s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics (accounting software), Sage Intacct (accounting software), Workday Adaptive Planning and Salesforce is an asset.
• Previous experience in creating/maintaining financial models for a subscription/SaaS business is preferred.
• Experience creating management reports is an asset.
