Overview



We are currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented

Financial Aid Administrator

to join our administrative team at a well-established

Private Career College in Ontario

. This key role supports the day-to-day operations of the Financial Aid Office, focusing on

OSAP administration, student financial guidance

, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate will have

prior experience working within the Private Career College sector

and a strong understanding of

OSAP processes and Ministry regulations

. You will be the primary point of contact for students regarding financial aid and will play an essential role in managing the financial aid lifecycle -- from application to disbursement and repayment education.

Key Responsibilities



Assist students throughout the entire

OSAP application process

, including reviewing eligibility, guiding documentation submission, and uploading required documents to the Ministry portal. Ensure accurate processing of

student loans and grants

.

Release OSAP funding

in accordance with Ministry guidelines, ensuring timelines and compliance are strictly followed. Maintain

accurate, up-to-date student financial aid files

in compliance with

OSAP and Ministry regulations

, ensuring all records are securely stored. Deliver

funding orientations

to students, covering available financial aid options (OSAP, grants, loans), eligibility, disbursement procedures, and repayment responsibilities. Collaborate with admissions and student services teams to support enrollment goals and institutional financial aid targets. Generate financial aid reports and dashboards to inform management about student funding trends, outstanding documents, and processing timelines. Use systems such as

PeopleSoft

and

Ellucian

for data entry, tracking, and reporting.

Qualifications



Mandatory:

Prior work experience within a

Private Career College

in Ontario. Post-secondary education in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. In-depth knowledge of

OSAP

,

Ministry guidelines

, and student financial aid regulations. Proficiency with

MCU RES

, document uploads, and funding release processes. Strong verbal and written communication skills; able to clearly explain financial information to students. Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with attention to accuracy and confidentiality. Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team. Experience using

PeopleSoft

,

Ellucian

, or similar student information systems is an asset.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.20-$25.00 per hour
