One of our Government clients is looking for Financial Administrator with SOW & Government exp.
Length: 1 year Contract with possibility of extension
Location: - Toronto, ON - HYBRID (3 days/week from the office and 2 days/week from home)

POSITION SUMMARY
Reporting to the Director, Marketing Communications & Brand Experience, you will be empowered to:

  • Support the effective internal control of the Brand and Marketing budget in collaboration with the team members. Monitor, analyze and report on monthly expenditures.
  • Manage departmental financial processes including review and manage purchase orders, statements of work (SOW) and invoices; ensure approval requirements are properly administered, manage the process from requisitioning to receivership; identify and resolve budget discrepancies; maintain budget control reports; coordinate monthly accruals.
  • Continuously seek out and recommend new marketing and financial processes to support end-to-end agility, speed, and efficiency.
  • Assist Marcom team members with day-to-day marketing tasks as requested.
QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE FOR THE ROLE
Work experience:
  • Two (2) years of related work experience.
  • Proficient with financial administration.
  • Proficient with MS Office suite.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage confidential/sensitive information professionally.
Education: College Diploma in Financial Administration or equivalent

  • Excellent organizational/project management skills and detail orientation.
  • Team player with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment.
