  • Lead ERP Projects: Manage the implementation of JD Edwards ERP, ensuring alignment with operational and financial goals.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with teams to complete the ERP setup while providing training and hands-on support.
  • Systems Optimization: Assess, recommend, and prioritize enhancements to ERP workflows for improved efficiency and cost savings.
  • Expand Capabilities: Introduce complementary tools and bolt-ons to enhance ERP functionality and oversee their seamless adoption.
Financial Reporting & Business Analytics
  • Dashboard & KPI Development: Build Power BI dashboards and scalable reporting tools to track financial performance and key business metrics.
  • General Ledger Support: Ensure accurate financial transactions flow into the general ledger and troubleshoot system issues as needed.
Process Improvement & System Management
  • Evaluate IT Systems: Identify and recommend IT system enhancements to align with organizational growth.
  • Operational Efficiency: Spearhead process optimization initiatives by delivering ERP upgrades or introducing new software tools.
  • Company SOPs: Refine and update standard operating procedures to ensure consistent workflows across locations.
Month-End, FP& A & Year-End Support
  • Month-End Close: Provide reconciliation, reporting, and analysis support during the month-end close process.
  • Audit & Compliance: Assist with year-end audit preparation and compliance reporting in collaboration with the finance leadership team.
  • Ad Hoc Analysis: Deliver strategic, data-driven insights to support evolving business needs.
Collaboration & Change Management
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Connect finance, IT, and production teams to align system functionality with business objectives.
  • Change Ambassador: Lead system training, promote user adoption of tools, and optimize usability to enhance overall performance
Requirements:Skills & QualificationsMinimum Requirements:
  • Designation: CPA designation with 2+ years of post-qualification (CPA) experience in Canada is required.
  • ERP Expertise: Proven track record in complex ERP implementations, preferably JD Edwards or similar ERP systems.
  • Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills with Power BI, Excel (e.g., macros, data modeling), and ERP software.
  • Project Management: Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional projects and deliver results.
  • Industry Knowledge: Experience in manufacturing and/or construction environments is a strong asset.
Preferred Expertise:
  • Strong understanding of costing and project accounting processes.
  • Background in FP& A (Financial Planning & Analysis) or financial modeling.
  • Ability to evaluate and implement third-party system integrations to enhance functionality.
