We are looking for an administrative professional to lead our financial operations with a strong focus on improving and implementing financial systems. This role will drive process automation, enhance internal controls, and ensure our medium-sized consulting company maintains efficient, accurate, and scalable financial practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee day-to-day Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
Evaluate current financial processes, identify gaps, and lead the implementation of new accounting and ERP systems or upgrades.
Support an effective payroll process.
Develop and maintain workflows to streamline approvals, invoicing, and payment cycles.
Strengthen internal controls and reporting to support growth and regulatory compliance.
Collaborate with project managers and leadership to align financial systems with project tracking and client billing needs.
Provide actionable financial insights and performance metrics to senior management.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field. 5+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience, including AP/AR management and system implementation.Proven track record of leading financial system upgrades or new technology rollouts.Strong analytical, project management, and communication skills with a focus on continuous improvement.This position is ideal for a systems-minded finance professional who thrives on optimizing processes and driving operational excellence in a growing consulting environment.
Requirements
Proven experience in leadership roles within administrative or related fields.
Strong understanding of financial services, corporate finance, accounting, and bookkeeping principles.
Proficiency in budgeting, cost management, and account reconciliation processes.
Familiarity with risk analysis and risk management practices.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
