We are looking for a Finance Operations Specialist to join our busy team.
This position will support the execution of full-cycle accounting processes across Future Transfer's multi-site operations. This role places a strong emphasis on purchase order tracking, ERP system utilization, and data-driven financial analysis. The successful candidate will be highly tech-savvy, comfortable working within ERP environments, and capable of identifying variances between actual spend and budgeted forecasts to support continuous improvement and cost savings initiatives.
Reports to: Finance Manager
Responsibilities:
Reconcile and analyze a wide array of balance sheets and P&L accounts
Support the annual budget and rolling P&L forecasting processes
Support monthly results reporting through investigation and quantification of gaps to expectation
Support continuous improvement and cost savings initiatives
Assist with the execution of full cycle (monthly, quarterly, annually) accounting processes and account reconciliations for all sites
Review and assist in the establishment and maintenance of a robust internal control and compliance environment to ensure safeguarding of company assets
Track, reconcile, and analyze purchase orders from creation through receipt and invoicing
Ensure PO compliance with budgets, approvals, and internal control requirements
Maintain accurate vendor, PO, and cost data within the ERP system
Investigate discrepancies between POs, invoices, and receipts and coordinate resolution with operations and vendors
Actively leverage ERP reporting tools to extract, analyze, and validate financial data
Support inventory tracking and assist with accounts payable duties such as invoice/statement review
Other duties and special projects, as required
Qualifications:
Recent graduate enrolled in CPA program in pursuit of designation or proven equivalent experience
Strong experience working with ERP systems (e.g., Dynamics, NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or similar)
Demonstrated experience tracking and reconciling purchase orders within an ERP environment
Experience supporting month-end close and preparing financial statements
Detail oriented with strong work ethic
Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize and manage multiple tasks
Self-motivated and results oriented who is positive, energetic and willing to take initiative
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Intermediate to advanced Excel user including pivot tables, VLOOKUPS, complex formulas, etc.
Working Conditions:
Manual dexterity required to use desktop computer and peripherals
Overtime as required
