The Finance Manager is a critical position that will support the management and administration of the business. You will manage everything from bookkeeping and internal accounting to international compliance. You're a key player in the growth of RideWrap and can offer your expertise in financial planning, budgeting, risk assessments and structural changes.

Responsibilities
Accounting and Bookkeeping
Own business accounts, filings, and processes.
Own full-cycle accounting including Accounts Payable, Account Receivable, Global Payroll, Month/Year Ends
Record and categorize expenses accurately
Complete monthly and annual reconciliations and financial reports including Cash Flow, Profit/Loss, and others
Compliance
Align financial operations with international compliance between Canada, the US, Australia, Europe and more to come
Ensure timely, accurate financial statements in accordance with appropriate standards (ASPE/GAAP, depending on jurisdiction).
Ensure adherence to tax and regulatory requirements across Canada, USA, Australia, the UK, and Europe
Create standard operating procedures for filing and complying with local tax laws and reporting procedures
Financial Planning & Analysis
Identify and enact opportunities for improvement in finance, accounting, and compliance.
Budgeting and variance analysis and preparing cash flow forecasts
Monitor KPIs, financial metrics, and market trends to anticipate challenges and opportunities.
Reporting and data visualization packages for management
Coordinating due diligence process when raising funds or preparing for an acquisition
Financial goal setting and tracking
Analyzing current financial operations to identify inefficiencies, ineffectiveness, risks for quality of financial planning information
Monitor financial progress, comparing results with approved plans, benchmarks and other indicators of success and positive progress. Prepare reports and interpret financial results
Oversees the development, implementation and oversight of financial tools, systems, and transparency practices for smart financial decision-making considering all RideWrap locations
Contribute to the preparation of the budget and forecasts within a limited scope
Support business controlling / operational link between business and accounting
Support new international business incorporating/financial structuring
Support mergers, acquisitions, expansions, and strategic partnerships
Qualifications and Skills
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA/CA/CMA/ACCA strongly preferred.
Relevant experience of hands-on financial management/accounting, preferably in a high growth environment
International experience strongly preferred
Solid understanding of ASPE, GAAP and IRS tax-exempt regulations.
Strong financial analysis and financial modelling skills
Analytic and critical thinking capability, with strong attention to detail
Proven experience at successfully developing & strengthening management controls, policies, and operational processes.
Interest in the bike industry is an asset

This role is eligible for performance based bonus compensation.
