The team tackles problems head?on, delivers quickly, and holds one another to high standards, while the organization is growing very fast in the past year. Decisions move fast, ownership runs deep, and each person sees the direct impact of individual results on national programs and contracts that we hold with the government. Our primary services that we offer: (1) IT hardware/software; (2) recruitment/headhunting; (3) virtual training. You will be focused on virtual training.
This role supports the financial operations of the organization and offers room to expand in scope as the company grows.
What you will tackle:
Contribute to budgets, forecasts, and financial models used to guide pricing, hiring, and growth decisions
Prepare financial insights and analysis that support leadership planning and decision-making
Support relationships with banks, financial institutions, and key vendors, including rate and contract reviews
Assist with identifying and coordinating grants, funding opportunities, SR&ED, and co-op programs with internal team members
Participate in improving financial systems, reporting, and workflows as the company scales
Own core financial operations, including bookkeeping, reconciliations, payroll, and tax filings
Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable to ensure accurate billing, timely payments, and healthy cash flow
Maintain a clean, scalable chart of accounts and sound financial controls
Coordinate with external accountants to support year-end, compliance, and ongoing reporting requirements
What you bring:
5+ years of experience in finance, accounting, or financial operations
Strong ownership of bookkeeping, payroll, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable
Experience supporting budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
Comfort working with QuickBooks or similar systems
Experience working with banks, accountants, or funding programs
Organized, detail-oriented, and reliable
Curiosity and interest in learning the strategic side of finance
Motivation to grow into a senior finance leadership role over time
