Job Summary


We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Finance Manager to lead our financial operations and drive fiscal excellence across the organization. In this pivotal role, you will oversee comprehensive financial management functions, including accounting, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and compliance. Your expertise will support organizational growth, ensure regulatory adherence, and enhance financial performance. As a key leader, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop strategic plans, manage risk, and optimize financial resources to achieve our mission-driven objectives.

Responsibilities



Lead the preparation and analysis of financial statements in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards), and IAS (International Accounting Standards). Oversee corporate accounting functions such as general ledger reconciliation, accounts payable and receivable, cost accounting, and cash flow analysis. Manage regulatory reporting requirements and ensure compliance with governmental regulations and industry standards. Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with organizational goals through strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, and cost control initiatives. Conduct risk analysis to identify potential financial vulnerabilities and develop mitigation strategies. Supervise treasury management activities including investment management, liquidity planning, and cash flow optimization. Prepare detailed financial reports, interpret complex financial data, and communicate insights effectively to senior leadership for informed decision-making. Oversee revenue recognition processes in compliance with ASC 606 standards and manage revenue & profit & loss analysis. Lead internal audits and coordinate external audits to ensure accuracy of financial records. Drive continuous improvement in financial processes through the adoption of advanced financial software solutions and automation tools. Support business development efforts by providing financial insights for new initiatives or projects. Manage a team of finance professionals by providing leadership, mentorship, and professional development opportunities.

Experience



Proven experience as a Finance Manager or similar senior finance role within diverse sectors such as non-profit organizations or governmental agencies. Extensive knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, IAS standards, and technical accounting principles including ASC 606 for revenue recognition. Strong background in corporate finance, risk management, cost management, and strategic planning. Demonstrated ability in financial analysis, report writing, interpretation of complex data sets, and fiscal management. Proficiency with advanced financial software systems along with strong skills in balance sheet reconciliation, account analysis, account reconciliation, and bookkeeping practices. Experience leading teams in fast-paced environments with a focus on compliance management and regulatory adherence. Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into clear insights for stakeholders at all levels.
