Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring a Finance Manager, Planning and Analysis on a permanent basis on our Finance team. This position is a remote opportunity and can be based across Canada. Are you a strategic thinker with an expertise in planning and analysis? This position is the perfect opportunity for you! What you?ll do:

  • You will provide guidance and make recommendations to a portfolio of local Co-ops on balance sheet, cash flow management, budgeting, forecasting, and other ad hoc finance and accounting topics.
  • You will assist with Co-operative Retailing System (CRS) finance and accounting system rollouts and work collaboratively with the local Co-ops to identify potential efficiencies in processes.
  • You will work in partnership with local Co-op General Managers, Boards of Directors, and Finance Managers to assist with the analysis of current operations or proposed new projects.
  • You will provide training to local Co-op Board of Directors and senior leaders in reading and interpreting financial statement results, equity management and board planning.
Who you?ll work with: The Team: You will work closely with the Retail Accounting and the Co-op and External Relations teams and will report into the Sr. Manager, Financial Planning and Analysis. This team strives to cultivate a culture of collaboration, transparency, and a strong team focus. The Customers: You will demonstrate customer focus while supporting local Co-ops, making financial recommendations based on analysis and building relationships. Who you are: You are looking for a career in Finance and:
  • Have 5-7 years of accounting experience (a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered).
  • Have a Bachelor?s degree in Business or Commerce.
  • Have an Accounting or Finance designation, such as CPA, CFA or CBV.
