Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Financial Controller to oversee our financial operations and ensure the accuracy of our financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, with proficiency in various accounting software. This role is essential for maintaining the financial health of our organization and will involve collaboration with other departments to support strategic decision-making.

Duties

Manage all aspects of financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Plan, develop, implement and direct the organization's fiscal function and performance. Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure timely payments and collections. Create, improve, implement and enforce policies and procedures of the organization that will improve operational (non-production) and financial effectiveness of the company. Develop analysis and timely reporting on key performance indicators. Oversee all matters related to accounting and finance Improve the cash conversion cycle through better management of and reporting on inventory, accounts payable, and credit. Prepare budgets and forecasts, providing insights into financial performance and variances. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements. Supervise payroll processing to guarantee accurate employee compensation. Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights that support business objectives. Implement and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets.

Skills

Proficiency in Enterprise accounting software such as Sage, Visual or similar platforms. Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform account analysis and reconciliation. Experience in budgeting processes and financial forecasting. Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills. Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders. Strong leadership skills Education: BCom/CGA/CMA/CPA

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $85,000.00-$95,000.00 per year
