The Blue Sky Family Health Team (BSFHT) is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to oversee all aspects of financial management, reporting, and information systems in support of high-quality, patient-centered primary health care.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and monitor financial systems, operating and capital budgets.
Prepare financial statements, reports, and forecasts for the Executive Director, Board of Directors, and Ministry of Health / Ontario Health.
Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, benefits, banking, and audit preparation.
Ensure compliance with GAAP, funding agreements, and applicable government regulations.
Lead implementation, administration, and maintenance of information management systems.
Provide financial analysis to support strategic and operational planning.
Qualifications
Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
Completed professional accounting designation CPA required.
Minimum 5 years progressive financial management experience in non-profit or healthcare organization.
Strong knowledge of GAAP, budgeting, Ministry of Health / Ontario Health funding processes, and NPO legislation.
Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail.
Proficiency in Sage accounting software, Microsoft Office, ADP Workforce Now.
