Job Title: Automotive Finance Manager

Position Overview:

The Automotive Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing all financial and legal aspects of vehicle sales. This role ensures customers receive transparent, efficient, and compliant financing options while maximizing profitability for the dealership. The Finance Manager works closely with the sales team, lenders, and customers to secure approvals, structure deals, and deliver an exceptional buying experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Finance & Lending:

Secure financing approvals through various lenders and financial institutions. Present financing options, extended warranties, insurance products, and protection packages to customers. Structure deals in accordance with lender guidelines and dealership profitability goals. Review credit applications, credit bureau reports, and supporting documentation to assess customer eligibility.
Documentation & Compliance:

Prepare, verify, and finalize all required deal paperwork, contracts, and disclosures. Ensure compliance with federal, provincial/state, and dealership regulations (e.g., privacy laws, lending rules). Maintain accurate and organized deal files for auditing purposes.
Customer Experience:

Clearly explain financing terms, payment structures, and product benefits. Provide a transparent and professional finance process to ensure customer satisfaction. Address customer questions or concerns regarding contracts, payments, and warranty options.
Collaboration & Sales Support:

Work closely with the sales team to finalize deals efficiently. Provide guidance on deal structure, incentives, and customer qualification. Build positive relationships with lenders, insurance partners, and internal staff.
Reporting & Targets:

Track finance and insurance (F&I) performance metrics, including product penetration and gross profit. Meet or exceed monthly sales and F&I targets. Review lender programs and stay up to date with market changes.
Qualifications:

Previous experience as an Automotive Finance Manager or similar F&I role preferred. Strong understanding of automotive sales processes, lending practices, and compliance requirements. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and customer service skills. High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet targets. Proficiency with dealership software (e.g., CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds) is an asset.
Work Environment & Compensation:

Full-time position within the dealership's sales and finance department. Competitive salary plus commission/bonuses based on performance.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $62,988.96-$144,499.45 per year

Work Location: In person
