What\'s the job?

• Manage all accounting operations and month end activities.

• Prepare the budget and the forecasts;

• Analyze variances vs budget/forecast and communicate explanations to management with recommended actions;

• Communicate and collaborate across organization and all levels of the

• Build, Integrate and train new

• Monitor and implement plant internal controls.

• Ensures proper accounting in accordance with Canadian regulations. Generally accepted accounting principles as well as local statutory requirements;

• Product costing to support business decisions.

What do you bring to the job?

• 5 plus years\' experience in a similar position;

• Bachelor\'s degree in Economics or CPA designation.

• Strong technical knowledge of local ASPE Accounting principles is essential;

• Knowledge of budgeting and forecasting techniques as well as proficiency with financial statement analysis and projection;

• Product cost accounting experience;

• Excellent planning and organizational skills;

• Advanced Excel skills - data driven and the ability to merge complex data sets;

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial reports and legal documents;
