.8 | Salary: $50,000/year

The Finance Manager undertakes a variety of administrative functions and ensures that all tasks are performed accurately and efficiently. The Finance Manager is encouraged to improve processes and to streamline administrative functions. General responsibilities include payroll and accounts payable, accounts receivable, charitable tax receipting, build audits and financial reporting.

Reporting



The Finance Manager reports to the Executive Director.

Probationary period will be 3 months, with a formal performance appraisal after 3 months and annually thereafter.

Hours of Work



32 hours of work per week are expected in this position. Hours of operation are Monday to Thursday, 8 am - 5 pm. Work will be undertaken in the Habitat office, home office, at Habitat construction sites, and at external meetings and events. Work on evenings and weekends may be required. If any overtime hours are required, they must be approved by the Executive Director in advance; it is Habitat's policy to provide banked paid time off instead of overtime pay (see attached Overtime Agreement).
