Key Responsibilities
Plan, organize, direct, and evaluate the company's financial and accounting operations in accordance with organizational objectives
Develop and implement financial policies, systems, and strategies aligned with corporate goals
Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, bookkeeping, and account reconciliation functions to ensure accuracy and timeliness
Prepare, analyze, and present financial statements, management reports, budgets, and financial forecasts to senior management
Conduct financial and risk analysis and establish risk management strategies to minimize financial exposure
Monitor cash flow, cost controls, and operational expenditures to improve financial efficiency
Support business planning, investment evaluation, and financial modeling for growth initiatives
Ensure full compliance with applicable financial regulations, accounting standards, and corporate governance requirements
Provide leadership, supervision, and performance management to finance and accounting staff
Advise executive management on financial performance, strategic planning, and long-term financial sustainability
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support organizational planning and decision-making
Skills and Qualifications
Extensive knowledge of accounting principles, financial management, and corporate finance
Strong experience in budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and financial analysis
Proven ability to manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and financial reporting functions
Demonstrated leadership experience in managing and mentoring finance teams
Strong expertise in risk management, internal controls, and regulatory compliance
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
Ability to develop and execute strategic financial plans supporting business growth
Strong written and verbal communication skills to present financial information to senior stakeholders
Knowledge of financial services regulations and industry best practices

Education
College, CEGEP, or non-university diploma (1-2 years) in:
Accounting
Business/Management Or an equivalent combination of education and experience
