Job Description
Opportunity Alert! We\'re seeking an analytical and detail-oriented Loan Analyst ready to add value and grow in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment. With exposure to senior leadership and mentorship, you\'ll get to take on responsibilities in loan funding, servicing, and financial reporting while adhering to our high standards of accuracy and control.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with financial planning, budgeting, and cash flow forecasting.
- Help in the review and enhancement of accounting policies and procedures.
- Contribute to management and regulatory reporting through data analysis.
- Manage loan data in the mortgage servicing system accurately and promptly.
- Perform monthly postings, reconciliations, and manage posting for full and partial repayments/discharges.
- Assist with the annual testing of the Business Continuity Disaster Recovery Plan.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent numerical, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Advanced Excel.
- Experience with accounting & loan servicing software.
- High level of professionalism and confidentiality.
- Business or Accounting Degree or equivalent experience; CPA or progressing toward CPA.
- At least 3 years of experience in the mortgage industry or related.
