Key Responsibilities - ERP Implementation Finance Intern:



Assist in Financial Data Migration: Support the collection, cleansing, validation, and migration of financial data (GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, etc.) from legacy systems to the ERP platform. Support Data Mapping Activities: Help map existing financial data and processes to the new ERP structure, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business requirements. Contribute to Chart of Accounts Setup: Assist in reviewing and testing the new chart of accounts and financial structure in the ERP system. Participate in UAT (User Acceptance Testing): Help create and execute test scripts for finance-related processes including journal entries, invoice processing, payments, and month-end close. Document SOPs & Work Instructions: Assist in drafting Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and work instructions for finance processes in the new system. Support Cutover Planning: Assist with cutover checklists and validation steps for finance-related tasks during system go-live. Coordinate with Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborate with IT, procurement, operations, and other business units to ensure financial requirements are well-integrated. Provide End-User Support: Help respond to basic queries from finance users and document common FAQs and solutions. Assist in Report Development: Support the design and validation of financial reports, dashboards, and analytics from the ERP system.

Qualifications:



Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or master's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. Basic understanding of accounting and financial principles. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with financial software is a plus (e.g.,IFS, SAP, QuickBooks). Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. High level of attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to handle confidential information with integrity
