Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting Manager to oversee our financial operations and ensure compliance with accounting standards. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various accounting practices, including governmental accounting, and will be responsible for managing financial reporting, budgeting, and cash management. This role requires a proactive individual with excellent analytical skills.

Duties

Oversee the preparation of financial statements in accordance with GAAP, IFRS, and other regulatory requirements. Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure timely payments and collections. Conduct balance sheet reconciliations and general ledger accounting to maintain accurate financial records. Prepare detailed financial reports and analyses for management. Prepare ongoing year end reports Prepare ongoing government reporting documentation Working within Sage 50 Accounting Program and Microsoft Excel Programs Tracking Inventory and availability on floor Provide technical accounting guidance on complex transactions and regulatory reporting requirements.

Skills

Strong knowledge of accounting principles including double entry bookkeeping, cash management, and account reconciliation. Proficiency in financial report writing, financial analysis, and account analysis. Experience with corporate accounting practices as well as public accounting experience is preferred. Bank Reconciliation, Ability to utilize various accounting software tools effectively for reporting and analysis. Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities.
