The Role

We're looking for a Director of Finance to own and scale all aspects of our financial operations. You'll be a key member of the team, responsible for ensuring financial discipline, operational excellence, and strategic insight as we grow. This role will oversee all accounting and reporting functions, lead budgeting and forecasting, and provide financial models that inform critical business decisions.


This is a hands-on leadership position -- ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced startup environments and wants to shape the financial future at a high-growth AI company.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Leadership: Own the company's financial operations, including accounting, financial reporting, forecasting, and analysis. Accounting & Controls: Oversee the monthly close process, maintain strong internal controls, and ensure compliance with GAAP and other reporting standards. Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead the annual budgeting process and rolling forecasts; monitor performance against targets and provide actionable insights. Financial Modeling: Build and maintain financial models for revenue, cash flow, and scenario planning to support strategic decision-making. Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial statements for internal stakeholders, board meetings, and external investors. Audit & Compliance: Manage relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, and financial partners; oversee audit readiness and compliance processes. Strategic Partnering: Work cross-functionally with leadership, product, and sales teams to support strategic initiatives, pricing models, and investment decisions. Performance Management: Develop and track KPIs, dashboards, and reporting mechanisms to drive accountability and growth.

Qualifications

Demonstrated progressive finance or accounting experience, including leadership in a scaling tech or SaaS company. CPA, CFA certification. Prior experience as an auditor or Director of Finance in a technology company is highly desirable. Deep understanding of GAAP, SaaS metrics, and enterprise software business models. Proven ability to implement systems and processes that scale with a growing organization. Strong financial modeling, analytical, and presentation skills. Comfortable working in dynamic, ambiguous, and high-growth environments.
