visionary finance leader

to help scale a fast-growing, founder-led company with a global reach -- all from one of the most beautiful and livable cities in Canada:

of a company built on momentum, transformation, and simplicity. You won't just keep the books clean -- you'll shape the business. You'll bring clarity to chaos, unlock growth through automation, and build the frameworks that support scale.

Your Mission as VP of Finance

As a core member of our executive team, you'll partner directly with the CEO and leadership team to guide financial strategy, ensure operational rigor, and scale our infrastructure.

hands-on leadership role

What You'll Own

Strategic Finance & Forecasting

Lead budgeting, forecasting, and scenario modeling to guide strategic decisions Translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insight Develop dashboards, KPIs, and reporting systems that fuel growth

Financial Operations

Oversee month-end, quarterly, and annual close processes with precision Implement automation tools to optimize workflows and reduce manual effort Manage cash flow planning, risk assessment, and capital allocation Ensure tax, audit, and regulatory compliance

Systems, Controls & Scaling

Build scalable internal controls and approval frameworks Drive financial software selection, implementation, and optimization Collaborate cross-functionally to embed finance into the business

Leadership

Build and mentor a high-performance finance function Be a thought partner to the CEO and executive team Represent finance in strategic planning and investor discussions

You Might Be the One If You Have

Required

Bachelor's in Finance, Accounting, or Business CPA designation (or in-progress) 5-10 years of experience in financial leadership roles Expertise in accounting software, ERP systems, and RPA tools Advanced Excel and data analysis skills A sharp eye for compliance and detail

Preferred

Experience with financial automation tools Exposure to people operations or HR collaboration Background in high-growth, scaling companies
