Job Description

SUMMARY

We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Finance Director to play a key leadership role in shaping our financial strategy, optimizing business performance, and driving long-term growth. This role will have a strong focus on forward-looking financial planning, operational finance, and business insights to support strategic decision-making.

Reporting to the CFO, the Finance Director will oversee budgeting and forecasting, contract and lease management, insurance renewals and finance automation initiatives. This role will also assist with M&A activities, oversee finance integration post-M&A, assess expansion opportunities, manage capital expenditures and find and implement operational improvement initiatives.

This role requires strong collaboration with cross-functional teams, particularly Operations, People & Culture, Analytics and with team members within Finance, to support strategic initiatives and drive profitability. As a key advisor to the Executive Team, the Finance Director must possess exceptional analytical skills, critical thinking ability, and strong business acumen.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategic Finance & Leadership

Partner with the CFO to develop and execute financial strategies that support business growth, profitability, and long-term sustainability

Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, providing financial insights to drive decision-making

Lead financial planning and analysis (FP&A), including budgeting, forecasting, and scenario modeling Support M&A activities, including financial due diligence, post-acquisition integration, and performance tracking.

Operational & Business Finance

Establish and lead a robust forecasting process, and provide financial modeling and analysis to support business initiatives and strategic planning

Work with operations and external advisors as needed to manage contract, insurance and lease renewals, ensuring cost-effective and risk-mitigated agreements

Lead assessment of and planning for finance automation opportunities, working alongside the Controller to enhance efficiency and scalability Collaborate with Operations to develop and drive operational improvement initiatives, leveraging financial data to enhance business performance.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics. A CPA designation is strongly preferred Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in Corporate Finance, Financial Analysis, Accounting with demonstrated success in a leadership or advisory capacity Expert proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling; experience with Power Query/Power BI and Robotic Process Automation/AI implementation is highly valued Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a track record of delivering insights that influence business outcomes Deep understanding of financial statements and performance metrics Ability to work cross functionally and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization Excellent written and verbal communication skills * A confident self starter, with the ability to operate in a dynamic environment.
