This pivotal role involves elevating the teams\'s capabilities, driving strategic influence, and encouraging global and local collaborations.The ideal candidate will have a wealth of finance experience, a strategic approach, and a proven track record of leadership in the pharmaceutical industry.   • Lead business plan/forecasting cycles and reviews.
  • Ensure forecast accuracy by understanding the business model and financial drivers, jointly accountable with the business.
  • Challenge key forecasting assumptions with scenario modeling to support strategic decisions.
  • Set performance targets and incentives aligned with strategy and operational plans.
  • Support commercial alliances with financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Prepare presentations and financial analysis for Senior Leadership reviews.
  • Provide expert financial analysis of performance, forecasts, key risks, and opportunities based on market data.
  • Offer quality input, creative approaches, and recommendations for investment decisions.
  • Explore needs with internal customers to improve business results, demonstrating commercial and business acumen.
  • Manage brand P&L coverage, reporting, budgeting, planning, market access modeling, business cases, and pricing.
  • Collaborate with extended Finance teams (GFS) for timely and accurate reporting and planning.
  • Communicate governance and compliance standards in commercial decision-making and highlight areas of concern.
  • Develop the professional capability of the Finance team and improve financial understanding among non-finance managers.
  • Initiate and communicate changes to improve Finance practices and processes within the Finance Business Partnering network.
Education, Qualifications and ExperienceEssential
  • 12+ years of progressive experience as a Finance Business Partner.
  • A Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Accounting, Finance or any other relevant Business discipline (or equivalent) MBA and/or CPA (or equivalent) preferred.
  • Experience of using financial systems to support business decision making (budgeting, forecasting & modelling).
  • Experience of working in a global pharmaceutical organisation/ understanding of the drug development life cycle and/or commercial aspects.
  • Deep ERP experiences (SAP preferrable)
  • Strong curiosity about data automation and visualization (eg. PowerBI)
  • Experience in auditing positions in an audit or finance consultancy company.
  • Project management experience.
