Finance Clerk

Job Description

The Finance Clerk is responsible for providing financial and administrative services to the organization. The Finance Clerk will work closely with the rest of the management team to ensure an effective and accurate financial and administrative operation. This position reports to the Office Manager and/or Managing Partner.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES



Process accounts receivable and accounts payable

Perform regular monthly follow-up on overdue accounts receivables

Manage client trust funds in accordance with Law Society regulations

Compile and analyze data and assist in providing financial reports monthly, quarterly and annually

Provide input on financial matters, assist with implementing and maintaining accounting policies and procedures, and stay informed about new or updated Law Society regulations

Prepare end of day bank deposits

Collaborate with the management team to foster a team-oriented environment

Assist and provide back-up coverage to the office manager

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $40,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
