Go Oil Canada Inc. & Go Oil USA Inc. (collectively known as "Go Oil") is a rapidly expanding startup offering on-demand mobile oil change services to commercial fleets and residential customers throughout North America. Based in downtown Winnipeg, we value adaptability, innovation, and a hands-on approach. Our cross-border operations in both the USA and Canada provide a unique opportunity to gain experience in international finance.
Key Responsibilities
Payroll & Payments:
Process payroll for staff, franchisees, and DSP partners across the USA and Canada.
Accounts Payable & Receivable:
Manage outgoing payments and incoming funds to ensure efficient cash flow.
Bank Reconciliation:
Maintain accurate accounts, investigate discrepancies, and implement necessary adjustments.
Tax Reporting:
Assist with tax obligations and filings in both the USA and Canada.
QuickBooks Management:
Update and maintain financial records, including budgeting and reporting.
Financial Analysis & Reporting:
Support data entry, financial statement preparation, and ad hoc projects.
Collaboration & Flexibility:
Work closely with internal teams to adapt processes, ensure compliance, and contribute to an evolving startup culture.

Qualifications & Skills
Education:
A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field is preferred but not required. We welcome candidates with the right attitude and willingness to learn.
Technical Skills:
Familiarity with QuickBooks (or the ability to learn quickly) and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Detail Orientation:
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with an eye for accuracy.
Communication:
Effective at collaborating with team members across multiple departments and locations.
Professionalism & Confidentiality:
Comfortable handling sensitive financial information responsibly.
Adaptability:
Open to evolving responsibilities as the business grows and changes.
On-Site Availability:
Able to work on-site at our Winnipeg office.
