Overview


We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our retail team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting store operations, driving sales, and leading a team to deliver exceptional customer service. Responsibilities



Assist the Store Manager in overseeing daily store operations, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning. Lead and supervise store staff, providing coaching, training, and development to enhance team performance. Manage merchandising efforts to optimize product placement, pricing strategies, and inventory levels. Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues with professionalism, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. Oversee POS transactions, cash handling, and bookkeeping to maintain accurate financial records. Coordinate recruiting efforts, participate in interviewing candidates, and assist with onboarding new employees. Monitor sales performance metrics and implement strategies to meet or exceed sales targets. Support marketing initiatives to promote store products and brand awareness. Assist with purchasing decisions and inventory management to ensure stock availability. Maintain organized records related to payroll, budgeting, and administrative tasks. Uphold store policies regarding safety, cleanliness, and compliance with company standards.

Experience



Proven supervisory or team management experience within retail sales or store management roles. Strong background in merchandising, pricing strategies, and sales management. Excellent communication skills; bilingual proficiency is a plus for serving diverse customer bases. Demonstrated ability in negotiation, recruiting, training & development, and marketing activities. Proficiency with POS systems, cash handling procedures, bookkeeping, and administrative tasks. Effective time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently. Leadership qualities with a focus on motivating teams and fostering a positive work environment. Prior experience in budgeting, payroll processing, and organizational skills are preferred. Pay: $137,789.52-$161,542.55 per year
