Our client in Toronto is actively looking for a Finance Assistant A/R to join their team.
Title: Finance Assistant A/R
Location: Toronto, ON
Length of Assignment: Temporary
Reporting to the Finance Supervisor, the Finance Assistant (AR) will be the point of contact for both internal and external stakeholders, customer support for billing and collections of accounts receivables. In this role, you are accountable for handling both hospital and corporate department billings including the preparation and posting of invoices. Responsibilities include but are not limited to monthly reconciliation of billings and collections of all past due accounts as well as the aging of outstanding receivables. You will assist with completing of Month end and Year end closing of sub-ledgers and assist with internal and external audit preparations.
Qualifications
- (2) years of post-secondary education such as a diploma in Accounting and/or Business Management with 2-3 years of accounting experience in accounts receivable billing and collection.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication (written and oral), problem solving, organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritization skills.
- Demonstrate diplomacy, judgement, and initiative, while working under pressure to meet conflicting deadlines which all require a high level of accuracy.
- Advanced Excell skills
- Experience using Lawson
