We\xe2\x80\x99re looking for our next Finance Analyst. Could It Be You?
The purpose of the Financial Analyst is to provide support to the finance team with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting needs.

What\xe2\x80\x99s it like working as a Finance Analyst at Questrade?
The Financial Analyst works under the direction of the Manager, Financial Reporting in assisting with the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting as well as ad hoc projects.

In this role, responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Preparation of financial statements including notes for both consolidated and non-consolidated entities.
• Preparation of supporting schedules and reconciliations.
• Analysis and reconciliation of financial data.
• Providing support during annual audit.
• Coordinating with various departments to obtain information for reporting needs.
• Chart of account and report updates within Netsuite.
• Review of chart of account mapping for new subsidiaries and acquisitions.
• Ad hoc projects as required, including some regulatory reporting assistance.
• Understanding and drawing insights from journey performance reports and customer research to optimize and provide recommendations for communication improvement.
• Genuinely advocating to create the best possible customer experience.

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• CPA designation or designation in progress.
• 2 years+ practical experience in a finance department or public accounting firm.
• Experience with IFRS.
• Experience with Netsuite system is an asset but not required.
• Familiarity with financial statements, ideally direct involvement in preparation including notes.
• Ability to multitask and work well under pressure, maintain strong attention to detail and prioritize work within tight deadlines.
• Ability to work independently, as well as coordinate with a team.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to manage and analyze large amounts of data.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills.
