ActionLink is a leading North American Integrated Agency, specializing in Experiential, Media, Retail & Digital Marketing. At ActionLink, we are never satisfied with the status quo and are in constant search for new ideas and new ways to help our clients build their brands, amidst the evolving dynamics of empowered consumers, leveraging new technologies. We are currently seeking a Financial Analyst to join our Client Finance Team and provide dedicated support to a partnership company business unit. The Client Finance team manages a broad set of responsibilities including business growth, reporting and analysis, P&L management, resource management, fiscal planning & forecasting ownership, and reporting to senior executives. We ensure that each business unit within ActionLink is equipped with the information to make sound financial decisions. The preferred candidate will be someone with a finance or accounting background, analytical rigor, and attention to detail.

  • $70,000 CAD Annual Salary
  • This position will be on a hybrid basis with 2-3 days per week working at our Toronto office on Liberty Street
Job Duties:
  • Preparing the annual budget & quarterly forecasts for your clients
  • Review, edit, and approve all client budgets
  • Review and report on month-end results in conjunction with the accounting department
  • Variance analysis at both micro (project) and macro (client/business unit) levels
  • Review and approve project reconciliations at program end
  • Ensure Salesforce data is up to date and accurate, to utilize in your reporting
  • Meeting with marketing account & project management teams on a consistent basis to review current
    projects & active pipeline
  • Business partnership with other teams including accounting, payroll, project & resource management,
    client service
  • Adhoc requests & reporting as assigned

  • Has a sense of responsibility and ownership of their work
Experience Requirements:
  • University degree in Finance/Accounting/Business
  • CPA (completed or in progress)
  • 1-3 years of financial experience, either full time or co-op positions
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Experience in the areas of finance, variance analysis, budgeting & forecasting
